The Committee for Freedom in Hong Kong Foundation Hires London-Based Communications Manager

14 February 2023 – The Committee for Freedom in Hong Kong (CFHK) Foundation has hired Megan Khoo to boost the scale and scope of their media engagement and outreach from London to the rest of the world.



Prior to joining the CFHK Foundation, Megan was a Communications and Policy Officer at the Henry Jackson Society, one of the UK’s best-known think tanks, where she managed all social media communications, authored weekly opinion editorials and press releases, and engaged with Parliament. Megan previously served at the Pentagon as Communications Director for the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Energy, Installations, and Environment. Megan began her career working in press relations for Congressman Glenn Grothman to support his roles on the Oversight and Reform Committee and Education and Labor Committee while representing the people of Wisconsin. Megan holds a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford in Contemporary Chinese Studies, two Bachelor’s degrees in International Studies and Modern Languages (Mandarin Chinese and Spanish) from Georgia Southern University, and a certificate in China and Communism from HarvardX.


The CFHK Foundation’s President, Mark Clifford, said:
